Mariko Mori!!!!!

Mariko Mori!!!!! (an inspiration to what I will be doing for my last project)

Another artist who has inspired me with my theme of Alien and culture is  Mariko Mori. She is a Japanese artist who juxtapose her work with culture and Eastern mythology with Western culture is a common theme in her work.... This is the reason why she has inspired me as for this final project I want to sculpt an Aliens and have all different culture which are from me and the ones which find interesting(& fascinating).... Mariko Mori, the Japanese-born, New York-based multimedia artist has a knack for combining unlikely objects — , Boddhisatvas with 3-D projection — to create futuristic art with a heavy Zen influence and Aliens making them fascinating... Mori’s continued interest in a fusion of art and technology, Buddhism, and the idea of universal spiritual consciousness. Drawing from ancient rituals and symbols, Mori uses cutting edge technology and material to create a strikingly beautiful vision for the 21st century.
Mori's 2003 installation at Deitch Projects was Oneness, a project held in conjunction with the Public Art Fund’s installation of her Wave UFO project. It is a symbol of the acceptance of otherness and a model for overcoming national and cultural borders. It also is a representation of the Buddhist concept of oneness, of the world existing.  (Her work in the theme of Aliens.. she has mixed up unique technique of sculpting her Aliens.... as well as making them attractive in the sense of they "stand-out".....)

My evidence "could be true or not"

Aliens......

Recently in the new-paper an article about aliens and their existance. As scientist have proven about aliens coming to earth.....

However the article is about "Killer aliens given way to cuddly ET" is saying about "Aliens" visiting from the outer space aren't what they used to be... As i believe that we thought they may be scary and harmfull but they are not. This does not prove the fact "Aliens" do exist.

Thinking about it!!!! We cant be the only ones in the whole universe... maybe the "Aliens" could be humans but in a different form......

But now we’re more likely to consider them as friendly folk like ET, scientists say.

In 1961, the US congress warned that finding evidence of extra-terrestrial life could lead to panic.

But now we’ve become so used to alien abductions and X Files-style plots that the real thing would spark delight or indifference, a psychologist argues. Us Earthlings have been getting used to the idea of ET since the Seti – the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence – project began listening for alien radio signals 50 years ago, says Dr Albert Harrison.

Now half of the US and Europe believe aliens exist and many are convinced they have already visited Earth, surveys suggest.

Finding them ‘may be far less startling for generations brought up with word processors, electronic calculators, avatars and cell phones as compared with earlier generations used to typewriters, slide rules, pay phones and rag dolls,’ the California University academic told Philosophical Transactions Of The Royal Society. People tend to expect a friendly ‘near immortal’ alien which wants to share its wisdom rather than one who wants to annihilate us, Dr Harrison reckons.

But British experts poured cold water on thoughts of exotic, three-headed creatures turning up.

Any aliens are likely to be at the same evolutionary stage as us, argues Dr Martin Dominik of the University of St Andrews and Prof John Zarnecki from the Open University. If there were any out there, they would have turned up by now, says Prof Simon Conway Morris of Cambridge University."
